Vibrant design community and a strong emphasis on value and precision, which aligns well with my own design philosophy.

Hi there,

My name is Marton Borbas and I’m a Zürich based graphic designer. Currently I’m working at Education First as a Visual designer. But now I’m looking forward to new opportunities.

About my expercience, I can handle complex design projects and lead them as well.

In 2018, I founded a Budapest-based studio called harom.studio, which had a graphic design and development department. We handled the entire design process, including project management, and worked with bigger instituties, such as Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest, (where I also got my master degree.) In addition to this, I’ve designed editorial desings, books, brochures, and basically every kind of print material. I am also very comfortable with digital design. During the first lockdown, the number of digital projects increased, so I designed several webshops, landing pages, and digital campaigns as well. As you can see, I am capable of designing across a broad spectrum.

In 2022, I joined the DE-FORM Design Agency as a leader graphic designer. It was a great experience working in a larger team where everyone had a specific task based on their unique skills. I learned a lot from my colleagues, both personally and professionally, and received a significant boost in ambition and skills that I can bring to another country and team. It was also a great opportunity to test myself as a lead designer. My main projects included city branding, several book designs, and cultural branding for various exhibitions, where I was responsible for leading the project. As I mentioned before currently I’m working at EF, which is really good opportunity to learn the strategy behind the team and a bigger company.

In my toolbox, you’ll find a blend of creativity and precision. I’m proficient in software like Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe After Effects, and Glyphs. My work philosophy revolves around staying innovative, constantly learning about the latest graphic design trends, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

Regarding my personality, I like to play squash and swim, I’m a hobby gamer, and passionate about collectibles, so I have a very large collection of figurines and special edition games. I also never miss a Formula 1 Grand Prix. I consider myself an open and extroverted person who really enjoys meeting new people.
